He is highly skilled in off-market asset sourcing and acquisition, together with discreet disposals for long-term clients, joint venture creation, and ongoing consultancy. 

After working for the UK’s largest specialist hospitality real estate advisory company, Derek formed Pacific Property Company in 2002, representing clients in the hospitality sector in the UK and US. Industry peers widely recognise him as a successful “under the radar” professional who delivers excellent, client-focused results.  His past client base includes working with multiple global brands such as Hilton, Hard Rock, and Holiday Inn, as well as financial institutions such as Bank of America, Starwood Capital, and Deutsche Bank. He also works regularly with numerous family offices, including the Windsor Family Trust, Agassi Graf family office and BiP Group.

Derek will lead from conception to delivery while monitoring the market for opportunistic sales within the portfolio where successful investment parameters can be realised.
